Good morning

I have a big issue with my Gen Surg physicians. They got from somewhere that they could bill for layered closure when performing mastectomies and hernia repairs. I have googled this but had no luck. The way it had been explained to me is that by the nature of this procedures, they have to close in layers.

Please give me some input and reference to where I can find the answer.
