Can I use 36416 (Collection of capillary blood specimen) and 99000 (Handling and/or conveyance of specimen for transfer from the physician's office to a laboratory) for lead testing/screening when we obtain the blood specimen, fill out the lab forms, secure/pack the specimen, and mail it in? Also, can we use 99000 when we collect specimens, fill out lab paperwork, secure/pack the specimen for transport to the lab for pertussis, RSV, and MRSA swabs?
