I am taking the course on Health Insurance and I've learned that workman's compensation is a state regulated program and not a federal one. Luckily, I haven't had the need to utilize this program and therefore didn't put a lot of thought into how it was funded or maintained. I'm finding the "behind the scenes" paperwork of medical care very interesting.
