I was wondering if we need a left, right, or bilateral description for the new interventional radiology lower extremity interventions. Do we need a modifier or a designation in our chargemaster? Any information would be helpful. Oh, I am in Iowa if that makes a difference!

I have not seen anything yet, but I would imagine that right and left modifiers would be in order. I would use them until there is official confirmation.
Thanks,
Jim Pawloski
