Dr. is doing Lumbar epidural steroid injection. At the end of the procedure dr. is injection Depomedrol. We have not been billing for the Depo, but I am curious if anyone as billed the Depo and received payment.

Thanks for any input.

Hello - we bill for the Depo-Medrol or any other corticosteroids that are used in the office setting. These are payable. You may need to provide the NDC # however, depending on insurance.

Thanks Melissa,

I just was not sure if it was going to be separately payable because the procedure involved the use of a steroid during the procedure - The Depo was when the procedure was done. Your opinion?
