Doctor saw patient in office for a lesion removal of thumb. An Ultralsound done 2 weeks prior was inconclusive. It showed a hypoechoic focus of uncertain etiology. During excision, no abscess ,fluid collection, or foreign body was found. the tendon was explored but nothing found. No pathology report. How would I code this? Doctor chose 26113.
