Our doctor saw a patient for follow up of his melanoma's, he was going over CT/PET scan results with him. He is an established patient, and our doctor wants to bill a 99213 for this. This seems high for the lack of dictation. What level would you code this as?
S: F/u on PET/CT. No new symptoms, tumor staying stable
O: PET shows left axillary node and lesion palpable in left posterior neck
A: Stable recurrent disease
P: Patient will probably want these lesions resected, without a complete axillary dissection. He is going to think further on things, and will get back to me.
