I just started billing for a behavioral health clinic and they have several LMSWs. They are billing under the physician as Incident to, but is that ok? I am getting mixed answers, some say yes and others say no. I did see a webinar on AAPC stating NON-COVERED AS "INCIDENT TO," CSW cannot bill services performed "incident to" under their NPI. I was confused, by the word "their." Does that mean they can't supervise other Therapists?
