When a provider does a percutaneous biopsy in conjunction with a major procedure we are using 47001 When we do a Laproscopic procedure and do a liver biopsy we are using the unlisted biopsy for liver Any suggestions
 
If peforming needle biopsy with Lap procedure you would still use 47001. Otherwise you are correct to use the unlisted 47379 when performing bx of liver with lap procedures.
