Hello,
I have an LMFT who is preforming ADHD/ASD Assessments and scoring in adults. We have been using codes 96112 & 96113 for the scoring. I have recently looked up the code and it states for "children". I am wondering if anyone else has an LMFT preforming these services and what you are coding them under. Thank you!
 
It is in the scope of practice within the state of Maine, but I would recommend you consult your state licensing board. I see nothing that limits this to children. Do you have the 2025 CPT book?
