Wiki Local vs. MAC on eye cases

With regard to our OPD eye cases, we put the anesthetic as Local even if there is monitored anesthesia care. The anesthesia sheets lisit the anesthetic as Local given by surgeon even if there is MAC. Does anyone have any thoughts about this as to how it should be listed on the record? MAC or Local?
