Our practice is currently looking to contract a Locum Tenen to cover for a Nurse Practitioner and a Physicians Assistant who will be taking leave. The practice would like to hire a MD as the Locum Tenen. Could someone please provide me with Medicare guidelines in regards to this? I have been searching Medicare's web site and am only able to find guidelines in regards to MDs and DOs.
