Wiki Locum tenens, modifiers aa with q6?

When we code for Locums, we use Q6, and does the Q6 need to be coded after the AA, meaning this Locum is an anesthesiologist and personally doing this procedure? It seems we need to use both AA-Q6, and not just the Q6 alone.

Is this correct? Thanks!

Yes that is the way I bill them with the exception of using the physical status modifiers before the Q6 or Q5 (Medicaid) in place of AA when appropriate per the payer.
