I have recently finished my training program for coding outpatient and inpatient, its been hard to look for anyone to give me a chance as a beginner coder, or even to start as a receptionist or front desk and transition into coding. I already have my CPC exam registered for January, and was hoping to gain expereince on the job to help out with my exam. Do anyone know what I can do besides give up and move on to something else.

Do not give up

I and countless others have been there. I was saved by joining my local AAPC chapter and attending the meetings. Most any job is easier to land when you are known and those who are employed can recomend you. Sell yourself, be possive and let them see you and not just a piece of paper.
