Wiki Looking for advice

Hi! I recently got my CPC certification and have been trying to get my first job in the medical coding field and related positions for a few months now and have had little response. I know the holidays were a bad time to be looking but was hoping some opportunities might arise afterward. I am still struggling. I have been looking for any positions in the field, coding, billing, medical receptionist, revenue cycle, medical records, etc. both on site and remote. I am starting to get discouraged and am wondering what else I can do. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for reading.

Please try using the search feature (top right corner of the forums) of the forums here. You could put in CPC-A, apprentice, job search, new coder, job help, that kind of key word. There are a lot of posts like this with great tips and information already here. Good luck.
