Wiki Looking for an appropriate ICD 10 code pt uses Hemp /needs to prove no THC

Provider ordered urine tox for a pt who use Hemp in tea .pt needed to prove that he was not ingesting or using THC provider coded for F19.20(other psycoactive substance abuse) only because the EMR described the code as Concerned about own drug use. I'm not sure where to go with this ,his urine tox was completely negative

Hemp tea is definitely not a psychoactive substance. You could just use a screening code for other screening unless the patient had some symptoms that needed looking into. I the patient needed only a clean drug screen for an employer then the code the provider chose will definitely have problems for the patient, so in that instance just a screening code for other screening.
