I have a child who had HEI due to birth trama. Child is now three years old. Per my lead CPC, we must use code 348.1 as the child is over a year old. This code requires an E Code. What E Code would I use for Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy due to birth trauma? Any suggestions are welcome :)
