Hello potential employers,
My name is Theresa ("Terri") and I'm looking for an entry level coding and/or billing position in a clinic, private physician?s office, group practice, or skilled nursing facility. I recently graduated from PHSC's Medical Coding/Billing program and completed 1000 hrs. of Coding and Billing instruction in the following areas:
* CD-9-CM/ICD-10 - In-depth knowledge of the methods, techniques and guidelines of medical coding.
* CPT/HCPCS - Knowledge of coding the following areas, E/M, Surgery, Radiology, Integumentary, Cardiovascular, Musculoskeletal, Medicine, etc.
* Proficient in CMS-1500 and UB-04 claims filing, Medicaid, Medicare, TRICARE, ChampVA.
* Skilled in reading and interpreting EHR encounters, posting charges, and attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills.

BLS/CPR Certified on 07/11/2013
Aids/HIV Certified on 10/16/2013
