I have over 10 years experience in billing, auditing and coding, but only a year of certified coding experience doing ASC coding for my present employer. I am also only doing this on a PRN basis, and looking to find a position to code full-time. I have applied to over 30 different positions and am running into not having the right certification or the fact that I don't have inpatient coding experience. I know how to code IP but just never given the opportunity, all I'm looking for is a chance to prove my worth!
