I am an accountant, self-employed, who is looking for a second career in medical coding. I passed coding exam and have my CPC license with "apprentice" designation, since I never worked in coding or billing. For the past year, I've tried to get some experience in the field, but no luck. I need a part-time job (preferably 8-10 hours per week) where I could put my hands on actual coding and learn how it's done (other than from books). If someone knows of any opportunities, please let me know.
