My practice specializes in home care, behavioral health and transitional care. Our staff consists mainly of NPs and LCSWs, the majority of whom work part-time or per diem. We are currently using eCW (e-Clinical Works) but a lot of our staff have difficulty learning the software and have complained about slow computer response time when using the application. The cost is based on the number of licenses (1 provider = 1 license) which gets very expensive when you have close to 100 providers.

Does anyone have some suggestions for a more user friendly product and/or a more reasonably priced alternative?

Most EHR's charge per provider unless you use a free one like Practice Fusion. But in my experience, you get what you pay for when it comes to EHR's. Amazing Charts seems to be one of the most reasonably priced that also receives good reviews for it's functionality.
