I have more than 8 and a half years of work in the medical field. I was recently doing medical coding, charges, and payment posting for a pediatric practice. I have also done medical coding, charges, and payment posting for a family practice and an internal medicine practice. I resigned from my current job to work at home doing medical coding/billing only to find out that I had been scammed. I am not certified but I am in the process of completing an online medical coding program. I am over half way done with the program and then I am planning on taking the board test to become a CPC.
