I am having trouble finding the correct answer to how to code a low dose ct scan for lung cancer screening for a non medicare patient. I know the G0297 is for Medicare patients, the 71250 CT Thorax w/o Contrast uses higher dose of radiation. Can someone offer guidance on the correct code?

Have you checked the payer policy for the test? It should list the CPT/HCPCS codes they cover. We billed this at my last job and I want to say we used G0297 for all payers but I can't swear to it :)
