I work for a multi-specialty group and we are acquiring a neurologist. I was just wondering if anyone currently bills for a neurologist and if they can help me out with long term monitoring codes. I understand that typically a patient stays 3-7 days for monitoring of seizures. Can anyone advise me on the technical and professional codes aswell as the stay for this time period this takes. I would appreciate any advice. Thanks!
