Hi, I hope that someone can help me with this problem we have all of a sudden. We were charging Level 1 and now it has come up that we shouldn't charge at all. Does anyone know the rules on this?

Thanks for any help you can give.
 
It depends on whether you are charging for the facility or the ED physician. The facility may charge a level 1 if the patient meets the criteria of that facility level one guidelines. The physician may not charge a level.
