Hello fellow AAPC members. For the purposes of coding drug administration, would Magnesium Sulfate be considered hydration or a therapeutic infusion? From experience, I know that Mag Sulfate can come "pre-packaged" or it can be reconstituted at the institution's pharmacy. I would appreciate any thoughts you may have on this. Thanks!
