My dr is seeing patient in ICU and patient is on a ventilator management as expected from surgery performed by another physician. Time is < 96 hours and patient is not classified in respiratory distress. He is seeing the patient to maintain vent support as expected for surgery. Would Z99.11 be appropriate to use in this instance?
