Need one clarification on the Mammography codes.

The new codes for 2017 are 77065, 77066, 77067 and these are for non-digital examination whereas G0202, G0204 and G0206 are for digital study (Diagnostic and screening).
Are these codes based on insurance? Have read a document (attached as well) on this stating that - CMS is unable to properly process claims using new mammogram codes, so should be reported with only G codes.

It depends, I follow CMS guidelines at my payer and have set the 7x series codes to pay $0 if billed. You might find the same with other carriers that follow CMS or use CMS fee schedules.
