The Confidential Search Company is an executive recruiting firm with over 25 years of experience specializing in the placement of healthcare administrative and financial executives, directors, managers and specialists. We have been engaged to conduct the search for a Manager of Coding and Charge Processing for a major Massachusetts teaching hospital located in central Massachusetts.
The starting salary is up to $100k. There may be some flexibility for an extremely well qualified candidate.
This is an immediate need.
The Manager of Coding and Charge Processing will plan, organize, monitor and manage the coding and charge entry functions across multiple surgical/procedural specialties to ensure maximized professional revenue through effective billing and collection processes.
Qualifications
? Bachelor?s degree
? Minimum of five (5) years of coding experience and certification in physician-based coding (CPC or CCS-P) required
? Managerial experience within a physician billing setting required
? Demonstrated leadership ability, initiative, teamwork and assertiveness
? Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
? Computer skills and ability to access and use multiple data systems
? Extensive knowledge of ICD and CPT coding, 3rd party payer requirements and federal and state guidelines and regulations pertaining to coding and billing practices
? Proven analytical, research and evaluation skills required to make recommendations and implement operational improvement strategies
? Must maintain current knowledge of coding and billing practices
? Have a positive attitude and professional manner when interacting with team members, management and others
