Manager of Coding - Outstanding opportunity in NY for a seasoned Coding professional to be a Leader, Trainer, Supervisor and Creator. The incumbent will be joining a large and growing multi-site, multi-specialty organization with over 100 providers. In this newly created role, the Manager is responsible for day to day department operations which include leading the ICD-10 task force, training and monitoring coding staff for physician charges for multiple specialties, reviewing documentation and subsequent training/education of physicians, guiding new practices in coding processes and procedures and general staff supervision. The Manager will have the opportunity to assist in building/growing this department.

The position requires a CPC who is a documentation expert with a comprehensive level of coding and compliance knowledge, demonstrated ability to work with physicians and other healthcare providers and one who has excellent organizational, follow-up, customer interface and communication skills. This incumbent must be a strong Manager who has experience working in a facility with many providers.
