Hi, Is anyone doing MARS (Molecular Adsorbent Recirculating System) liver dialysis? If so, what CPT code do you use and what are you requiring as far as documentation? We are using the unlisted dialysis code and sending records, as well as a diagram with explanation of the MARS machine. Needless to say it's a hassle getting paid.
