What ICD-9-CM code would you use please for massage therapy that is solely for the purposes of relaxation only and not for a specific diagnosis? We have cash visits for this service and nothing goes to insurance, but our EMR requires an ICD-9-CM code.

Since these visits are not specific for a medical diagnosis, and just for relaxation therapy, what ICD-9-CM code can we use?

hello, i was wondering why you would need a note in EMR if the massage isnt for a medical reason? is it for tracking purposes? patients at the end of therapy?
