My doctor has a patient that had a TLH less than 90 days ago. She began abnormal vaginal bleeding and lost over a liter of blood over a period of several days and had to have a transfusion; She was not admitted but remained in the ER. We were not able to determine the cause, she simply stopped bleeding. This seems like abnormal post op complications and we also cannot attribute it to anything yet. Would it still be included in the global surgical package for her hysterectomy? Please help.
