We received our 1st payments from medicare here in GA for 2010 and our MRI contrast code A9579 is being denied for "procedure code inconsistent with modier or modifier is missing modifier" and "missing/invalid/incomplete procedure". Is anyone else having this problem? Last year their system had a glitch at the beginning of the year with the Q9967 contrast code for our CT scans. So far all have been denied and of course they can't help or understand this problem at the moment. Thanks for any responses. :confused:
