Hello
what are the regulations for medical aestheticians to work under MD's for acne surgery(10040), micro dermabrasion(15780-15782) and chemical peels(15789-15793)?
Does Dr need to be onsight during treatments?
Thank you!

If you are billing these under the physician's credentials, then yes, the doctor must be on site in order to meet the incident to requirements for services performed by ancillary staff that are billed by the doctor.

If these are self pay/cosmetic services, you may wish to check with your state's licensing board to get more information on the scope of practice and supervision requirements for these types of providers.
