Can someone help with this question....if a MD leaves a practice and has left patient charts not finished and not signed off can, another MD sign off on his charts?? Where can I get this in writing? Thanks in advance!!

Leaving the practice it should be in the MD contract that all charts must be completed and signed off. Another MD cannot sign off the chart as far as I know. Your malpractice insurance should know exactly where it is written. Check with them if you do not get a better answer.
