Ok the patient has acute sinusitis and the doctor prescribed medicine. Would it be, new problem with no additional work-up planned or self limited problem?

Also can I count prescription drug management for the prescription given?

Thanks for any help

My opinion, new problem no additional work up planned, moderate level of risk for prescription drug management..

Self limiting problem typically will go away on it's own...if the physician felt the need to prescribe a medication, dependant on the severity of the sinusitis, I feel overall MDM would be moderate level..in addition to that, it will help if the physician wanted to follow up with the patient at a later time to see how the medication helped..

Anyone else?
