Hi All,

Shall we take hallucinations as MEAT for dementia while HCC coding?

It depends on provider s documentation. There is a Dx F03.92 Unspecf Dementia with hallucinations as behavioral disturbances and dx F03.B2 which is moderate dementia with hallucinations.. These both are complications. HCC is 52 and RXHCC risk is 112.Also if pt has other chronic conditions or the wandering disease add that too.
