No. The comment "no patient responsibility" means just that....you can't make the patient responsible for any or part of the charge. Your contract with Medicaid means that you accept what they choose to pay you (or not) and you have to follow the directions on their remittance advice as to what the patient owes. Since Medicaid is the payer of last resort, make sure the patient has no other primary coverage. Balance billing a covered Medicaid patient is not allowed; you have to write off the balance in this case.
