Wiki medicaid refund

I billed a wrong cpt and got payment for OB/GYN to medicaid florida. is there any option to refund the paid amount, and bill new cpt for same DOS

Cpt I billed and got paid is 99395.
Actual cpt i have to bill is 99213-25, 58300, J7302.

Please anyone help me out.

You need to notify Medicaid that it was billed incorrectly and submit a corrected claim. They will send you a request for refund. I am assuming it works the same as it does for me in PA. Good luck!

Check with your MAC. Here in Arizona we have a refund form we fill out and either send a check for the overpayment or request them to offset the overpayment. After that we are able to submit a new claim to them for payment on correct services.
