Background Info: We had a patient come in yesterday since we are her "normal" ob/gyn but she got hormone pellets inserted by another doctor who refused to remove them stating "they have to run their course" but because she recently found out she's pregnant she came to us for our doctor to remove them. I have NO clue how to bill this since our doctor doesn't deal in the pellets or didn't put them in to begin with. Any suggestion on which CPT & ICD-9 codes to use to get the best reimbursement??? HEEEELLLP! :eek:
