Good morning:
Could really use your help to solve this question:
Would you see low level or minimal level under "Risk of complications and or morbidity or mortality of patient management (diagnostic testing or treatment) when a patient is being seen and evaluated for medical clearance for hearing aids?

It's hard to assign risk without seeing the whole context of a note, but based on just this alone I would assign 'low'. There's a clinical example in Appendix C of my edition of CPT which lists 'Initial office evaluation of a 58-year-old male, gradual symmetric hearing loss, without other otologic symptoms or history' as an example of a 99203, which I think supports this.
