hello,

wondering if "lung mass" would fall under high risk bullet point that refers to illness or injuries that may pose a threat to life or bodily function?

No, I would consider that a new problem with uncertain prognosis. Not all lung masses are lung cancer and many are wait-and-see, or treatable through VATS surgery. I wouldn't assume this is a high risk diagnosis until further investigation is done. I'd consider it a moderate risk.
