We open a second location. For each location we have a log on into the system. My concerns are that the progress notes are being generated under the first location with that doctor's info. We are submitting claims for the second location through that log on, but there are no progress notes in the system. Anybody have link to share on how that shouldn't be done?
 
That should be in the log in for your EHR. Most of them allow you to choose the location at the time of log in. It sounds like somehow you have been provided 2 separate EHR systems rather than adding second location to the existing subscription. Call your EHR company and let them know what is happening, they will be able to direct you.
