I work as a ZeroBalance auditor. I recently noticed the facility's UBs do not include Phase 2 recovery room charges when the claim is for an Inpatient account. This occurs whether or not the patient was moved to a PACU first. The same procedure performed as an outpatient included the Phase 2 recovery room charges. Is there a reason for this?
