Hello.

Can anybody tell me if I can bill for requesting and reviewing medical records from another doctor? If so, what would be the code for it?

This is one of the components that is taken into accounts when billing for E&M codes as part of the MDM. However, if an extensive amount of time is spent then I would document the prolonged time and consider billing 99358. Unless this is related to a work comp service, then I would follow their coding guidelines.

However, is this additional review is being done based upon a request from an outside entity such as an attorney office, then you would invoice the attorney for your time.
