Meidcare is now changing from the 1500 to 5010. Does anyone know if all the other insurance companies are following suit and switching to the 5010 form?

the 5010 is not a form it is the electronic transaction for electronic claim submission. This was a mandatory conversion July of 2012. The 1500 is the paper form that was revised to match the changes to the 5010 transaction. The new 2/12 version of the 1500 is mandatory for paper claims April 1 2013.
