I'm not sure if this is the right thread:

However I work for a third party. Hospital chain I am assisting has a massive outstanding balance with a Mental Health facility. Reviewing the medical records indicates that for the DOS they were also being treated at the long term mental health facility.

I know for nursing home care if the diagnosis is the same as the reason they were admitted in the nursing home the nursing home is liable for the charges. Does the same rule apply for Mental Health? I'm running into my own..issues here and I'd like to close this balance out.
