Wiki Medicare crossover to WA Medicaid

I work for an optometrist. We mail our Medicare claims since we're such a small practice. For some reason our system (OfficeMate) cannot print the Medicaid taxonomy code on the CMS form so I hand print it. Medicaid always rejects the claims for missing taxonomy codes. I've called both Medicare, to find out if they are actually passing the number through, and Medicaid, to see if anyone else has this problem. Medicare assures me they do pass the number along and Medicaid thinks I'm nuts because no one else has this problem. Has anyone had trouble with Medicare to Medicaid crossover?
