Hi there,

We had a Medicare patient that was seen at our clinic and was seen for a consult and an x-ray was done. The E/M was paid but the x-ray was denied due to the patient being enrolled in Home Health.
I am hoping to get some information on how to get this paid? I've never come across a denial like this and have no clue on how to bill. Do we treat it like an SNF or Hospice? Help...

Some services will need to be separated out and billed to home health. I would contact the HH agency and ask them how to bill them for the xray. We used to do "client bills" for these.
